Korean Barley Tea (Boricha)
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp whole barley (hulled or pearled), roasted
- 2 L water
Instructions
- Dry-roast the barley in a skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until golden-brown and fragrant (10–12 min). Let cool.
- Bring 2 L of water to a boil.
- Add the roasted barley.
- Simmer for 5–10 minutes (longer for a stronger flavor).
- Strain.
- Serve hot or chill and refrigerate for up to 3–4 days.
